Description

Before You Buy

This six-pack of Intex Type A filter cartridges is a replacement-media purchase, not a filter pump. The exact listing says it replaces the Intex 29000E cartridge and fits any filter pump that uses Intex 59900 cartridges.

Compatibility checks

  • Confirm your existing cartridge is a Type A / 59900-style cartridge before ordering.
  • The listing identifies compatible pumps as 500, 530, 800, 1000, and 1500 gallons-per-hour models.
  • Compare the old cartridge’s size with the listed 4.25 x 8 inch dimensions rather than assuming all above-ground pump filters match.

The listing also says Intex recommends replacing this cartridge as frequently as every two weeks for peak pump performance, so a six-pack can help you keep spares on hand during heavy-use periods.
