This patented non foaming formula prevents green mustard and black algae from forming in all types of swimming pools. Smart Algicide contains a patented chelant that prevents staining that commonly occurs with other copper based algicides. Initial Start Up: 8fl oz per 10 000 gallons of water per week Routine Maintenance: 1.5fl oz per 10 000 gallons of water per week Directions: Initial Start Up: With pump and filter operating initially apply 8 fluid ounces Smart Algicide per 10 000 gallons of pool water. Routine Maintenance: For weekly application intervals add 1.5fl ounces per 10 000 gallons of pool water. For two week application intervals add 3 fluid ounces per 10 000 gallons of pool water every other week. Apply more often if swimming pool volume is diluted by heavy rain frequent backwashing or partial drain/refill. Ingredients: 3.3% Copper (Metallic)
