Dolphin Triton Robotic Pool Cleaner with PowerStream Ideal for Pools Up to 50 Feet.

Before you buy

This guide is for the Dolphin Triton PS robotic pool cleaner, listed as model 99996207-US. If you are comparing Triton variants, match that number. The listing describes this ASIN as an Automatic Robotic Pool Vacuum Cleaner, so verify you are buying the whole cleaner rather than a replacement component.

Check pool size and type

The Amazon listing says the Triton PS is ideal for in-ground pools up to 50 feet. If your pool is longer than that, compare larger models instead of assuming this unit will cover it.

What matters day to day

• Vertical cleaning: The listing says the robot is nimble on vertical surfaces for wall and waterline scrubbing.
• Scheduling: It lists three settings: every day, every other day, or every third day.
• Independent operation: It does not rely on your pool pump or filter to get the job done.

Handling and warranty

The listed unit weighs 26.12 pounds, so think about how you will lift it out of the water. The listing also shows a 2 year warranty; review the terms before purchase.
