Before buying the RC9742CUBY SharkVac

This guide is for the exact Hayward RC9742CUBY listing titled as a SharkVac Caddy Cart Robotic Pool Cleaner. If comparing another SharkVac listing, compare titles and features directly; do not assume included accessories.

What the listed features mean

• Floor and cove focus: The listing says smart steering cleans floors and coves in about 2 hours. If you need wall climbing or waterline cleaning, verify those capabilities separately.
• Independent operation: It runs separately from pool filtration and needs no extra hoses, hookups, or pumps.
• Maintenance access: A top-access cartridge filter supports quick debris removal; consider whether that cleaning routine suits you.
• Self-exit protection: The listed beach-entry sensor reverses direction when the cleaner starts climbing out of the water.
