Indoor Draft Hood Heater Model 8

Before You Buy: Raypak Indoor Draft Hood, 8-Inch

This is a single-unit indoor draft hood carrying part number 009840. The product title and listing data designate it for the 8-inch model configuration and specify indoor installation. If your heater operates inside a structure, this hood serves as the venting component; if your heater is installed outdoors, this part is likely not the correct fit.

What to Verify Before Ordering

• Match the part number: Confirm your existing hood or service documentation lists 009840. The 8-inch size designation must correspond to your unit’s configuration.
• Indoor-only designation: The title explicitly labels this as an Indoor Draft Hood. Do not assume interchangeability with outdoor-rated hoods — cross-reference your nameplate or service manual.
• Quantity: One hood per order. Adjust quantity if multiple units are needed.
