Pentair EC86 Complete Turbine Drive Shaft Replacement Automatic Pool Cleaner

Buying Guide: Pentair EC86 Turbine Drive Shaft — Complete

The Pentair cleaners parts catalog lists EC86 as “Turbine Drive Shaft – Complete,” item 5 on the Legend 4-Wheel LL105 parts list, and it appears again under Legend II (LX5000G/LX5000GG), Legend LL505G/LL505GG, and Kreepy Krauly Platinum. A Polaris cross-reference table also maps EC86 to Polaris part C86.

How it differs from adjacent parts

The catalog breaks the turbine into separately-numbered items: EC83 turbine spacers, EC80 turbine bearings, EA40 turbine shaft shield, and EC110 turbine cover with elbow. Each carries its own part number, so none of those should be assumed included when buying EC86.

What to confirm with the seller

• Your cleaner’s model plate (for example LL105, LX2000, LL105PM/PMT, LL505G/GG, LX5000G/GG) against the parts list where EC86 appears.
• The exact part number EC86 with no letter suffix substitution.
• Catalog quantity for this item is one shaft per cleaner diagram; the “2 shafts” pack count in this listing title is not something the catalog confirms, so verify pack contents with the seller.
