Hayward RC9990CUB TigerShark Robotic Pool Vacuum (Automatic Pool Cleaner)

What this model is

The RC9990CUB is the TigerShark QC robotic cleaner. The listing highlights a fast 90-minute Quick Clean cycle, while also noting that all TigerShark models have a standard 3-hour complete cleaning cycle for floor, walls, coves and waterline.

Fit checks

• The stated compatibility is in-ground residential pools up to 20 x 40 feet.
• No extra hoses, hookups or pumps are required by the listing, so plan for a standalone cleaner rather than pool-side plumbing connections.
• If your pool exceeds the stated dimensions, look for a different exact model rather than assuming a longer cycle or extra plumbing can compensate.

Cleaning and upkeep

It runs separately from the pool filtration system, which the listing says reduces filter backwash frequency. Debris is collected in a cartridge filter that can be removed and rinsed with a hose.
