SoCal’s Competition Nose Clip is the same style used by Olympians. The stainless steel wire clasp is what makes the difference as it holds tight where plastic types tend to slip. In competiton a nose clip gives the athlete an advantage by keeping the air in the lungs so that the swimmer can kickout with longer underwaters off of both the start and turns.
