Unicel C-8409 Replacement Filter Cartridge for 90 Square Foot Hayward CX900RE Sta-rite PXC-95 Waterway Pro Clean 100 Waterway Clearwater II 100

Verify the old cartridge before ordering

This Amazon listing sells a Unicel C-8409 replacement filter cartridge, described as a one-pack. The seller positions it as compatible with Hayward Pool Products, Sta-Rite, and Waterway systems that use this style of cartridge.

• Check your old cartridge for the Unicel or OEM part number before buying; cross-reference lists can vary by housing.
• The seller’s item part number is CX900RE. Compare that with the marking on your used cartridge.
• Measure the used cartridge. The listing states 8-15/16 inches outside diameter and 17-3/8 inches length.
• Confirm the end-cap style: the seller describes open end caps with molded gaskets and a 4-inch inside diameter.

The listing also states 90 square feet of filtration area and 174 pleats. Those numbers help compare cartridges, but fit still depends on your filter housing and the dimensions printed on your old part. Because this is sold as one cartridge, check how many elements your system uses before deciding quantity.
